Ash writes character-driven stories about everyday people and the absurd things human nature allows itself to indulge in. Mixing gritty realism with dark, off-the-wall humour, his protagonists are as fantastical as they are human, often in worlds where things are usually always worse than they seem.

   He is the author of PEST, a skewed tale about a young man's descent into the murky world of porn and the fallout from his addiction. He is currently working on his next novel, The Bumming Party, a quaint English Murder Mystery centered around the 50th Wedding Anniversary of the idiosyncratic Charles and Vera Bumming.

   When Ash isn't writing, he enjoys listening to music, walking the cat, and occasionally digging up his horde of Star Wars figures. He lives in The Cotswolds, England with his wife and huge Norwegian Forest Cat, Buddha.
